Happy Father's Day to all those awesome dads who support their children and make a positive difference in their lives every day. Remember, without your father you wouldn't exist. So, even if you guys don't get along really well, you can at least thank him for that. I hope you all have a wonderful day! Go check out some of the movies that just got released. We are in Blockbuster June. . .

FUNimation and TRSI Titles To Be Screened At Ancient City Con! 06.06.2008

Great news today! I finally got an email confirmation that a variety of FUNimation and TRSI Titles are going to be screened at Ancient City Con (August 2-3, Jacksonville, FL). We also have permission to screen Origins and Record of Lodoss War. Below you'll find the list of what we're allowed to screen (thus far). Please go to our forums and let us know which ones you'd like to see the most! ACC will probably also have other shows to screen, so the whole block will probably not be anime, but that's great! That just means that you have the chance to see some new sci-fi/fantasy shows.

From The Right Stuf International:

Ninja Nonsense

GRAVITATION

His and Her Circumstances

The Third: The Girl With The Blue Eye

SHINGU: Secret of the Stellar Wars

Boys Be...

Lost Universe

From FUNimation:

Tsubasa RESerVIOR CHRoNICLES

CLAMP Double Feature (Tsubasa and XXXHolic movies)

Fruits Basket

Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid

Slayers, Slayers Next, and Slayers Try

Gunslinger Girl

Full Metal Alchemist and the FMA movie.

Thanks so much to The Right Stuf International and FUNimation for all of their help! They've been really wonderful to work with!

Updates 05.30.2008

Now that we've gotten through the panel. . . *whew*. . . we're working on updating the website to look prettier. Yes, techie slave Pandachan is working hard again to make something prettier at my demands. ^_^ I mentioned to him today that it was awesome that we had been "live" for two months and he just sighed. Inside, I was laughing. . . oh wait. . . that was out loud. Oops!

We've now updated The War of The Magi page. So, all of you wondering what that Manga sitting proudly at the center of my table at Megacon and Florida Supercon is all about, you can actually go to the link and look at a small bit of information about the whole series. IT's really short because I don't want any spoilers leaking out. And, there are some serious sploilers in this series. I so want to tell everyone what they are because I feel like I'm playing a big joke on all of you. . . but. . . guess what. . . I can't say anything! It's torture honestly.

I just posted a poll on the live journal and myspace accounts for everyone to check out regarding artword for Metrocon. While I'm not listed in the book, I will be splitting a booth with someone at Metrocon. I was unclear on how to get a table and this friend was really nice to help me out and order both tables. Thanks so much!

Also, if you haven't been looking at the forum posts everywhere. . . We're currently looking for people to help us perform the Hare Hare Yukai at Metrocon, AFO, EXPcon, ACC, and any other conventions coming up. EXP Con is going to take the most work. Go check out the forums at EXP Con and SUpercon for more information. (Honestly, I don't feel like typing all that up again. . . maybe I'll cut and paste later.) We'd prefer that you do live in the Jacksonville area if you're looking to participate. Email me if you'd like to join up. We need an Asahina and a Negato. You'd have to actually provide your own costumes - but they don't have to be hand made. I wish I had time to make costumes. . . especially the Kaname one I want to finish. But I just don't have a lot of time left anymore with all the studio work to be done.

Well, I think I'm just carrying on at this point and I'm honestly out of things to talk about.

As soon as we finish The War of The Magi page, we'll start updating the reviews page.

Things to look forward to: Completion of Chapter 2 of Yume and more bookmarks featuring L, Haruhi, Luffy, and Final Fantasy characters! Any suggestions???? Visit the Live Journal and give me some feedback! Or go to the forums (which are still a little lonely. . .).

Thanks for stopping by!

FLORIDA SUPERCON!!! 05.28.2008

We just returned from Florida Supercon and the convention was awesome! We had a really great time! Thanks to everyone who came by the Otaku-High Ultimate Trivia Tour game show and the booth. Congrats to Elyse Coleman (Grand Prize Winner), "Panda" (1st Runner Up), and Mark Tarbox (2nd Runner Up). Elyse won a Level 2 Ticket to EXP Con, a weekend pass to Ancient City Con, Galazy Angel DVD (courtesy of ACC), and lots of yummy Otaku Swag. Panda, our first contestant received a Big O DVD (courtesy of ACC), a weekend pass to Ancient City Con, and plenty of Otaku Swag. And, last but not least, Mark walked away with a Level 1 Ticket to EXP Con and lots of Otaku Swag. Thanks to everyone who helped us run the panel, especially our Otakus who volunteered their time for menial prizes. Thanks to everyone who attended the panel!

We also appreciate The Right Stuf International for providing screening permissions and advertisements!

And, a special thanks to Pandachan for making the program work. I know, I know. . . there were some issues here and there, BUT, he put the entire program together on his own AND had to deal with me fussing at him every ten minutes or so about making it look pretty. He's really been slaving away on the Visual Basic presentation and this would have never happened without him. Thanks! ^_^

I hope that everyone had as much fun as we did at the event and I hope to see everyone back at Supercon next year. If you didn't get a change to attend the game show, you still have plenty of chances left! We'll be running the event at Metrocon, AFO (still waiting for a response here), Ancient City Con, and EXP Con. Hopefully Mike will be kind enough to let us run the panel again at Anime Supercon. We hope to see all of you there! Study hard!

HAPPY EASTER! 03.28.2008

The Easter Bunny has left us an egg: Destination Yume Studios website is finally a go! Although, there's still not that much here. . . or at least not as much as I'd like for there to be. ^_^ If you want more information about the studio, recent projects, "Yume", and just other stuff, please check out the links to the left. We're currently trying to make them work, so if it doesn't work today, check back tomorrow or in 5 minutes. . . we're new to this whole website thing, so please have patience with us. Thanks for stopping by! I hope to see you again! ^_^
